Two pre-owned bags with the same model name can differ substantially. Treat the listing as an individual item with its own condition, accessories and seller terms. If you want it delivered to the United States, establish both what you are buying and how that particular seller handles your destination before comparing the headline price.
Make a condition record
- Look for photos of the actual bag, including corners, handles, lining, hardware and closures. Identify areas that are not shown rather than assuming they are undamaged.
- Read the description for wear, stains, odor, repairs, alterations and replaced parts. Ask the seller to clarify an unclear detail in writing before ordering.
- Record exactly which strap, pouch, dust bag, box or other accessories are included. A photo of packaging does not establish what ships with the item.
- Save the listing identifier and description. A product-level comparison groups listings; it does not make their individual condition equivalent.
Understand the seller's verification process
Read who is selling the item and who, if anyone, describes an authentication or inspection service. Ask what that service checks, when it happens and how a dispute is handled. A platform badge or a claimed certificate should be considered in its stated context. Priceory's matching and merchant links do not authenticate the bag.
Confirm the US delivery arrangement
Check the dispatch location, destination eligibility, tracking and any delivery signature requirements. Ask how the seller handles an address change or a missed delivery. For an overseas shipment, confirm which delivery and import charges are collected in advance and which remain uncertain. Use your actual destination when reviewing the checkout total.
Check returns before paying
A marketplace can have different terms for different seller types and individual listings. Read whether this item is returnable, the condition in which it must be sent back, the return destination and any deductions. Ask about the process if the received item differs from the description. Do not infer a universal return window from a general marketplace summary.
Keep the original listing, checkout summary and seller messages together. When the parcel arrives, follow the seller's inspection and reporting instructions promptly and retain packaging while resolving a concern. For related checks, read new versus pre-owned and the US checkout comparison guide.
This is an editorial checklist. Priceory has not inspected or authenticated any item and does not guarantee a seller's description, delivery service or refund. Confirm the individual listing and seller's current terms before purchase. See our editorial standards.
