Priceory (“we”, “our”, “the site”) operates https://priceory.com, a Malaysia supermarket price comparison website. This Privacy Policy explains what information we process when you visit or use Priceory.

1. Information you provide
- Search queries and compare/basket interactions you type into the site
- Messages you send us via the contact form (including the reply email you provide)
We do not currently require user registration or passwords for core search and compare features.
2. Automatically collected technical data
When you visit Priceory, our servers and security tooling may process:
- IP address (approximate location may be derived)
- Browser type, device type, and general request metadata
- Pages viewed, referring URL, and timestamps
- Basic error and performance logs needed to run a reliable website
3. Analytics
We use Google Analytics (GA4) measurement ID configured on the site to understand aggregate traffic (for example which pages are popular). Google may process data according to Google’s policies. You can limit analytics via browser settings, extensions, or Google’s tools where available.
4. Advertising (Google AdSense and similar)
We may use Google AdSense or similar ad networks to show ads. These partners may use cookies or similar technologies to:

- Limit how often you see an ad
- Show personalised or non-personalised ads, depending on your region, consent settings, and Google’s controls

We do not sell your personal information as a product. Ad revenue, if enabled, helps fund hosting and catalogue maintenance.
5. Affiliate / partner links
We may earn a commission when you click certain affiliate / partner links (for example online marketplaces or finance partner apply buttons) and later complete a purchase or application with that merchant. Those links are marked as partner or sponsored where practical. Click tracking may use cookies or URL parameters operated by the merchant or their advertising partners — subject to their privacy policies. - Affiliate / partner networks when you click tracked outbound links
- Authorities if required by law
We do not sell product price catalogues as personal data packages.
Data retention
- Server logs: kept only as long as useful for security and operations (typically short rolling windows)
- Analytics: retained per Google Analytics property settings
- Contact emails: retained long enough to handle your request
Children’s privacy
Priceory is a general shopping comparison site, not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your choices and rights
Depending on your region, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to certain processing. To exercise a request:

- Describe what you need (access, deletion, etc.)
We will respond within a reasonable time.
For ads personalisation controls, use Google’s Ad Settings / your browser cookie controls.
International transfers
Our hosting and Google services may process data on servers outside Malaysia. Where required, appropriate safeguards are handled by those providers’ terms.
Product and price data notice
Merchant product names, images, and prices are collected from public merchant sources for comparison. They can be incomplete, delayed, or wrong. Confirm in-store or on the merchant’s official channel before purchase. This is not personal data about you; it is catalogue content.
Security
We use standard industry practices appropriate for a public content/comparison site (HTTPS, access controls on admin systems, dependency updates). No method of transmission is 100% secure.
Links to other sites
Search results and guides may link to merchants or external resources. Their privacy practices are their own.
