Information we use

We receive information you provide when signing in, managing an existing purchase or contacting us. Website requests can include your IP address, browser details, requested page and search query. We use this information to operate and protect Priceory, support accounts and respond to you. If you contact us, we use your email address and message to reply.

Homepage catalogue searches send your search text and selected filters to Priceory to find matching products. Saved product IDs are stored in this browser on this device, without account sync. If browser storage is unavailable, Saved lasts for the current visit. Clearing browser data removes saved products. Your explicitly selected shopping market is also kept in this browser when storage is available. Manual review entries are processed in your browser. Existing accounts, purchase records and data already stored on your device are not erased by the website update.

Shared links store only the product ids and a hash of the stop-sharing key on our server; no names, emails or IP. Stopping sharing empties the stored list. The localStorage key priceory.shares.v1 holds your stop-sharing keys on this device.

Display preferences stay in this browser only: display currency (priceory.display-currency.v2), delivery country (priceory.delivery-country.v2) and shopping market (priceory.market.v2), written only when you choose them in the Menu. Until you choose, they follow the country Cloudflare reports for your connection (or your device's time zone if that is unknown), otherwise US and USD. That country is derived from your IP address at request time and isn't stored. Suggestions settings (priceory.reco-behaviour.v1, priceory.reco-reset.v1) store whether you allowed views and saves to tailor suggestions and any Not interested choices. Menu preferences no longer read entries stored before 18 Oct 2026. The region suggestion still checks the older delivery-country and display-currency keys so it does not ask again. Clearing site data in your browser removes all of these.

Cookies and service providers

Cookies and similar storage support sign-in, preferences, security and analytics choices. Use to manage optional analytics.

With your consent, we use Google Analytics to measure visits to approved public pages, product details viewed, clicks on retailer links, submitted searches, filter changes, target preference actions and actions that add or remove Saved items. Some product-list actions contain only a fixed action type. Events include a random event ID for deduplication and an internal/customer traffic tag; internal test flags remain on this device until cleared. A retailer-link click is not a purchase. Google Analytics uses cookies and a device identifier and loads only after you accept. Google Signals and advertising features are off. Product-view and retailer-click events contain reviewed public product and merchant IDs, department, market and whether the link was on a card or in product details. Search, filter and Saved-action events contain only an approved action type and aggregate market, department, category and merchant context. These aggregate events do not include product IDs or Saved contents. We do not send search text, search hashes or lengths, numeric price-filter values, account information, product names, retailer URLs, page queries or fragments to Google Analytics. Saved lists remain in this browser; analytics does not synchronize them to an account. Page URLs are limited to approved public routes. External referrers are not sent to Google Analytics. Same-site referrers are limited to approved public routes. You can change your choice through Cookie settings. We ask again after 12 months. Previous rejections are retained; previous acceptance for page-only analytics requires a new choice for this expanded purpose.

We use providers including Cloudflare for website delivery and security, Google for sign-in and analytics, and Stripe for existing billing support. They may process information outside your country. Retailer links take you to separate websites with their own privacy policies; retailers handle your purchases. Where a retailer requires referring-site information, its paid link may identify Priceory as the referring site. These links send only the public site origin across HTTPS sites, not your search text or page query. Other shopping links suppress the referrer.

Site measurement, reminders and alerts

First-party measurement. Priceory records simple shopping events on its own server: the type of page opened (home, search, category, product or saved), the product viewed or the store link opened, saved-item adds and removals, target-price changes, the site version, whether the visit looks like a customer, internal test, automated test or bot, and the two-letter country reported by our network provider, Cloudflare. We do not store your IP address, cookies, browser details or any personal identifier with these events, and they are not shared with third parties. Each action carries a random event ID that is used only to count it once and is not stored. This measurement is switched off when your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track. The daily event files are deleted automatically after 90 days; ask us via our contact form if you have questions.

Region suggestion. On a first visit we may suggest a delivery country and reference currency (for example the UK and GBP) based only on the country Cloudflare reports for your connection. We do not use a location database or store your IP address for this. Your choice, or a dismissal, is kept on this device only.

Problem reports. If you use "Report a problem" on a product page, we receive the listing, the problem type, your optional note, the time, and a one-way coded value derived from your connection so we can tell separate reports apart and stop abuse. Your IP address itself is not stored, and no name or email is asked for. Reports are checked automatically to correct or hide listings and are not shared. A report, including your note and the coded value, is deleted as soon as it has been checked and resolved; a report waiting for the next price update is kept only until then. We keep only a short record of what was changed on the listing (time, listing and action, with no note and nothing about you) for 30 days.

Email price reminders. If you ask for an email reminder, we store your email address, the product, store and target price, your reminder frequency, quiet hours and time zone, the reminder status and a record of reminders sent. Email addresses are shown only in masked form. Unsubscribing stops emails; the record is kept, marked as unsubscribed. To have it deleted, use our contact form.

Browser alerts. If you turn on browser alerts, we store the push address your browser provides (an address at your browser vendor's push service, such as Google, Mozilla, Apple or Microsoft, and its encryption keys), the product, store and target price, your alert preferences, device type, status and a record of alerts sent. Alerts are delivered through that push service. Turning an alert off, or using Delete my data on this device below, marks the record as unsubscribed; the record is kept. To have it deleted, use our contact form.

Retention and your choices

Priceory server request logs are kept for up to 7 days for security. Account, billing and support records are retained for ongoing support and applicable obligations. Existing customers with past purchases can contact us for help.

You can ask to access, correct or delete personal information by contacting us. Some records may need to be retained for security or legal reasons.

Your rights where you live

Priceory is available worldwide. Wherever you are, you can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or withdraw consent, through our contact form. We reply within 30 days. We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for targeted advertising.

European Economic Area and United Kingdom (GDPR / UK GDPR). We use your information to operate the service you asked for (contract), to keep the site secure (legitimate interests) and, for Google Analytics and browser alerts, only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time in . You can also object to processing, ask for restriction or a copy of your data (portability), and complain to your data protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office, ico.org.uk). Optional analytics cookies are off until you accept; strictly necessary storage (security, your language, currency and country choices) does not need consent.

Malaysia (Personal Data Protection Act 2010). We process personal data for the purposes described above, you may request access to and correction of your personal data, and you may limit processing by withdrawing consent. Complaints may be made to the Personal Data Protection Commissioner (pdp.gov.my).

Singapore (Personal Data Protection Act 2012). We collect, use and disclose personal data only for the purposes above, with your consent or as the law allows. You can request access and correction and withdraw consent. Complaints may be made to the Personal Data Protection Commission (pdpc.gov.sg).

Canada (PIPEDA). You can request access to and correction of your personal information and withdraw consent; complaints may be made to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca).

Australia (Privacy Act 1988). You can request access to and correction of your personal information; if you are not satisfied with our reply you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).

United States. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, and we honour Global Privacy Control signals for first-party measurement.

Our service providers (listed above) may process information outside your country; we use providers that apply contractual safeguards for international transfers.

The entries below stay in this browser. They are not a Priceory account. A key shown with angle brackets, such as <id>, <hash>, or <preset>, is a prefix: each list, saved product, target, or plan revision adds its own entry under that prefix.

Some file-tool working copies are also kept in this browser's IndexedDB, in databases whose names start with priceory. The control below deletes those databases and every local storage or session storage key that starts with priceory., priceory_, or priceory-. It also turns off browser alerts set up on this device (the only request it sends) and clears the analytics consent, language/currency and Google Analytics cookies. It does not delete account, billing, or support records on Priceory servers, and it does not sign you out.
