Terms governing use of the Priceory Malaysia supermarket price comparison website.

Agreement

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern access to Priceory at https://priceory.com. By using the site you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

The service

Priceory provides informational multi-store price comparison and educational guides for Malaysian grocery shopping. Features may include search, product compare, basket estimates, festival notes, fuel price modules, Telegram price alerts, and related content.

Independent · not affiliated

Priceory is an independent information service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partners of AEON, AEON BiG, 99 Speedmart, Lotus’s, Jaya Grocer, Village Grocer, Mydin, Giant, Econsave, NSK, KK Super Mart, TF Value Mart, Shopee, or any other retailer or marketplace named on the site, unless we state a specific partnership in writing.

Merchant names, product names, and logos appear only to identify goods and stores for comparison. They remain the property of their respective owners.

Not a purchase channel

Priceory does not sell groceries, process checkout, or fulfil delivery. Any purchase is between you and the merchant. We are not responsible for merchant stock, membership pricing, loyalty discounts, checkout totals, offline promotions, or delivery fees.

Outbound “Shop at …” links may open the merchant’s own site or app. Some links may be affiliate links — see Editorial Standards & Advertising Disclosure.

Price accuracy · indicative only

Prices shown are indicative figures drawn from publicly available catalogues, weekly flyers, product pages, and similar feeds we process. They are not:

  • a live cashier or till price
  • a guarantee of stock or of the amount you will pay
  • an official government price list

Catalogue and flyer prices can change quickly. Matching is best-effort using barcodes, pack sizes, brands, and names. Savings figures are estimates based on available matched listings. Always confirm the price at the store or on the merchant’s site before you buy.

Telegram or browser price alerts only watch our tracked catalogue feeds. An alert is not a promise that a shelf or checkout price will match.

Data sources

We use public retail information to power comparison. We do not claim ownership of merchant catalogues. If you are a rights holder and need a listing corrected or removed, use the Contact form with details.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Abuse, overload, or scrape the site in a way that harms service availability
  • Attempt unauthorised access to systems or other users’ data
  • Use the site to distribute malware or spam
  • Misrepresent Priceory content as an official government price list

Automated access for personal non-commercial research should be polite and respect robots.txt. Commercial bulk scraping requires prior written permission.

Intellectual property

Site design, original guides, and Priceory branding are protected as applicable. Merchant product names, logos, and images remain the property of their owners and appear for comparison/identification. Guides may quote public shopping concepts for education.

Advertising

The site may display third-party ads (including Google AdSense). Ads are not endorsements. Clicking ads is optional.

Disclaimer of warranties

The site is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of completeness, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Priceory and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the site or reliance on any price, match, or guide. Total liability for any claim relating to the site is limited to zero monetary fees you paid us for the service in the prior three months (currently the core site is free).

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Priceory against claims arising from your misuse of the site or violation of these Terms.

Changes

We may update features and these Terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised Terms. The updated date will change when we revise this page.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in Malaysia have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protections that cannot be waived.
