What is the main way to use Priceory?
Start with Plan this week (weekly pantry / your list). Read the green TIP for 1-store vs 2-store. Then use Search for one pack when you need detail, and Watch (Telegram alerts) only for packs you rebuy often. Plan → Search one pack → Watch.
What does the green TIP mean?
On Plan this week, the green TIP is the practical trip we recommend for your list — usually one store or two stores after coverage and optional petrol. It is not “cheapest every stop no matter how many shops.” Many-store lowest total can look cheaper but costs more time and fuel.
What search filters work today?
On Search you get Sort, Store, and Brand. Tick 2+ stores only to hide packs found at just one supermarket (default OFF — plain English: only show items that appear in two or more stores). Filters auto-apply when you change them.
What does “2+ stores only” mean?
One plain sentence: show only packs we matched at two or more physical supermarkets so you can compare like-for-like. Default is off so single-store hits still appear when you need them.
How is unit price shown?
When pack data allows: RM x.xx/L, RM x.xx/100g, or RM x.xx each (not “sen/pc”). Use Best value sort to lean on unit price instead of the shelf sticker alone.
What about Shopee / online listings?
Optional mixed cards may appear when quality gates pass. Online / Shopee is a separate channel (shipping, seller variance) and may use commission links. Online is not counted in the green TIP physical trip maths. See Marketplace / Online.
What does “Shop at {store}” open?
When we have the original datafeed merchant product URL, the button opens that store’s listing (labelled Shop at {store}). We do not invent product links. Always confirm pack size and price on the merchant page or shelf.
Are prices the same as the till?
No. Catalogue ≠ till. We show catalogue / flyer prices for the same pack so you can plan — always confirm on the shelf before you pay. English is the primary UI language.
How does location (GPS / postcode) help?
Optional GPS or postcode (header) ranks nearer branches and can estimate trip petrol. Cards stay usable without location — distance is a rank helper, not a hard lock.
How do quiet alerts work?
Open Alerts and use free Telegram watch for packs you rebuy — drop thresholds, not flyer spam. Your plan list stays on this phone; no Priceory account required.
Is Priceory free? Do you take commission?
Yes, free for shoppers. Some partner / marketplace links may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. See Editorial standards.
