What Clean Ledger does with a receipt
Clean Ledger Receipts turns a receipt photo or screenshot into structured fields and a clean table on this device. You take or choose a JPG, PNG, or WEBP. Date, merchant, total, currency when it is clear, and line items when they can be read, appear in a review list you can fix before you keep CSV. The job is Instant & Private: the receipt is not uploaded for processing. You see the table before you keep it.
Use it for a printed cafe slip, a grocery ticket, or a simple bill screenshot you already have. It is best on clear, well-lit printed receipts. Handwritten or messy bills may not extract cleanly — that refuse is honest, not a silent empty success. This is the same Clean Ledger flagship as statements, not a second finance product. Image Text is copyable text from a still. This job is fields and a table you can open in a spreadsheet.
Each successful extract uses one Free completion (5 every 24 hours). A refused photo does not count. Same-session copy or CSV download does not count twice. Unlock is $0.99 for the day. Pro is $3.99/mo. Unlimited Instant & Private on paid plans. Free never uploads the receipt.

Do you upload my receipt?
No. Free processing never uploads the photo. Closing the tab discards in-memory working data.
What photos work?
Clear printed receipts in JPG, PNG, or WEBP. Camera on a phone is fine. Handwritten, cropped, or messy bills may not extract — try a clearer printed slip.
When does Free count?
A successful extract uses one of Free 5/24h. A refuse does not. Copy and CSV in the same session do not count again.
