How to sign a PDF online without uploading

How to
Drop the PDF
Open Sign PDF and drop one PDF. You should see the file name. If the file will not open, it is damaged or locked. Fix that first. Signing a file you cannot read only produces a refuse, not a blank success.
Make one mark
Under Signature, pick Draw, Type name, or Upload image. Draw on the pad when you want a handwritten stroke, and use Clear drawing if the stroke is wrong. Type name when a clean line is enough. The fonts are Helvetica / Arial, Times, Courier, and Script. Size runs from 12 to 96. The field starts with the words Your Name — change them before you keep the file. Upload image accepts a PNG, JPG, or SVG. Empty drawing, an empty typed name, and no image are refused. The message is: Draw, type, or upload a signature first.
Pick the page
Prev, Next, and the Page list move through the file. The list shows 1 / N. Put the mark on the page that has the signature line. A cover that should stay clean is not the page to sign. Only the page you are looking at receives the mark.
Place it
Drag the signature on the preview. If a phone makes drag awkward, set X, Y, Width, and Height. The hint under those fields says to drag or use the controls. Width starts from a small minimum and height does too. Look at the preview before you download. The download follows the preview. There is no separate undo history. If the seat is wrong, move it and download again.
Download signed PDF
The button is Download signed PDF. Open the result in an ordinary reader. Confirm the page number, the seat, and that other pages have no extra mark. Name the download for the matter and the date. Keep the unsigned original if you still need a clean copy. Closing the tab discards the working preview. Files you already downloaded stay where you saved them.
Know what the mark is not
The mark is drawn on the page. It does not rewrite the words underneath, lock the file, or stamp every page. It does not create a signature dictionary and it does not prove identity to anyone. If you need a technical report of dictionaries already in the file, that is a different live tool, and it is not legal advice. Read sign versus verify when that is the question. This page stops at the placed mark.
When a mark is the wrong job
A label such as a draft stamp on every page is not a signature. A password before the file opens is not a signature. A wrong name in the body of the letter is not a signature — that is True Edit, and the edit guide covers it. Do those jobs on the open file, then come back here if a mark is still required.
If several PDFs must become one packet, merge after each source is signed, or sign the merged packet once you are sure of the page numbers. Signing first and merging later changes which page is page 3. Check the page list after any merge.
Honest limits
Sign PDF will not pretend a visual mark is a certificate. Anyone who can open the PDF can still read it, copy from it, or print it. If the desk asked for a certificate-backed signature, this download will not satisfy that ask. Say so, rather than sending the file under the wrong name.

Tips
- Change the default typed name before you download. Your Name is a starting line.
- Script is the usual pick when the line should look signed. Helvetica stays plain.
- Check page one and the signed page. A mark on the wrong sheet is a new download, not a patch.
- Keep the unsigned file. The signed download is a send copy.
When the tool says no
- No mark yet: Draw, type, or upload a signature first.
- A file that cannot be opened is refused. You do not get a fake signed PDF.
- This tool will not write a cryptographic signature dictionary. Do not describe the download as one.
