Before you start: light, surface, whole page in view

Put the paper on a surface that is darker than the page when you can. A white sheet on a white desk is the hard case, and the tool will say so if it cannot see the edge. A wood table or a grey desk is easier. Light from above beats a lamp that throws your hand across the page.

Fit the whole page in the frame. Cut-off corners are the usual miss. Hold the phone steady for the shutter. You do not need a special scanner app, and you do not need an account.

How to scan a multi-page document

Open Scan to PDF. Tap Start scanning. The first time, the page explains the camera before the browser asks. Allow it. Each shutter tap adds a page and stays in the camera. The counter shows how many pages you have. Tap Done when the stack is complete.

Adjust shows corner handles. Drag one if the edge is off. A magnifier sits near your finger. Enhance is next: B&W for text, Grayscale for pencil, Color boost for stamps and logos, Original if you want no cleanup. Export writes the PDF. Turn on searchable text if you need to find a sentence later. English printed text is the honest case.

Free keeps up to 20 pages in one scan. Unlock and Pro go up to 100. One download of a new file is one use of Free 5/24h. Capturing and editing do not count. Downloading the same unchanged file again does not count twice.

Pick the right clean-up

B&W is the sharp choice for receipts and plain text. Grayscale keeps pencil and photographs soft. Color boost pushes paper toward white and keeps colored logos. Original only flattens. Apply one mode to every page, or set a single page on its own. The last mode is remembered on this device.

Make the PDF searchable

Make text searchable adds an invisible text layer over the page image. The English text pack loads from Priceory once, about 10 MB. That is the pack coming to you, not your pages leaving. Long stacks are slower. You can export without searchable text if you would rather not wait. Handwriting stays in the picture. Check the words before you rely on them.

Hit an upload size limit

Pick 1, 2, 5, or 10 MB before export, or leave no target. If the pages fit, you see under target. If they cannot, you see the closest honest size and why. A PDF you already have belongs on Compress PDF.

Keep it one tap away

After a successful download on a phone, you may see a card about adding Priceory to your Home Screen. The icon name is Priceory. The same privacy line applies: files stay on this device. We don't claim offline use. The card is not shown on the first visit, and it stays quiet after you dismiss it twice.

When the tool says no

If the camera is blocked, the page tells you how to allow it, and Choose photos stays available. If edges are not found, drag the corners. HEIC photos open here. A file that is already a PDF is refused with a pointer to OCR PDF or Deskew PDF. An empty file is refused. Other pages you already added stay.

When you are done, open the PDF in an ordinary reader. Check the first page, a middle page, and the last page. The name on the file is the date unless you edited it. A rename does not spend another Free use. Closing the tab does not upload anything. The unfinished scan, if you leave one, stays on this device for up to 24 hours and then expires. Clear draft removes it immediately. That is the whole job: paper, phone, a flat PDF, and the file still in your hands.
